Asked by RMCPROP in VNC Remote Access Software, PC Anywhere Remote Access Software, TCP/IP
Out of 20 PC's on our network, 2 units cannot be connected remotely over the Internet using either LOGMEIN, GOTOMYPC, VNC or Remote desktop. I have turned off the firewall, shut down virus checker, installed a new router and set up all the appropriate port forwards for the remote software. When I connect via RDP, I get a black screen with the IP address in the border. This connection eventually times out. VNC yields the same results. LOGMEIN and GOTOMY PC never connect. The PC's with the problem connect to the Internet and browse sites just fine. They can also be accessed via VNC on the LAN side from any workstation running vnc viewer. And finally today they started failing to send email on outlook. (receive is OK) Anyone have any ideas before I wipe them clean and reinstall OS ??????
