The software I'm using now is an old version of Venti and it doesn't support Vista, however more and more of my users are using it.. which proves to be annoying.
Does anyone know of some remote software I can use for Vista to support customers?

The classic trade off between good and cheap...
Are you after a solution that allows the user to trigger a remote support request or do you want the ability to remotely connect without the remote users' permission? (by that I mean connect without the user initiating an outbound connection or needing to accept an incoming connection)

For static connections I would favour Windows Remote Desktop.

For the limited support I do remotely for some clients, its not cost effective to keep a service going continuously.

Dameware's excellent Mini Remote Control is a great product, only have to license the number of IT folk that will use it to control systems - so you can build and deploy the client to as many amchines as you like.
Good support also and the client install is MSI (for GPO install) and sets an entry on the Windows firewall too.

I have been using a really cheap solution that is available as self hosted or hosted solution, however its amazingly cheap,, you can pay as PAYG per session, or montly or you can buy it outright,its web based from both ends so you can control from anywhere to anywhere, i looked at loads of others like goto asisit and ntr, however they were so expensive. There's a version of LogMeIn that is free and supports Vista, if you upgrade to Pro, you get 5 licenses for $19.75/month. I haven't used it, but I have some colleagues who have used Putty 0.6 and say that it's pretty easy to use (also compatible with Vista).
