Asked by Broxoth in Citrix, Remote Access Software, XenServer
Hi,
I'm a Citrix novice. I'm looking for a way to log user activity within Citrix XenApp. We are using version 5 Advanced. I've seen articles discussing Configuration logging and STA logging. I've read some information that states that STA logging would be able to give me information I'd need. I've enabled it and reset the IIS Admin service, per the instructions at
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX120589. However, only a small number of logs have been made:
INFORMATION 2009/11/05:18:23:18 CSG1301 CtxSTA.dll loaded.
INFORMATION 2009/11/05:19:59:39 CSG1302 CtxSTA.dll unloaded.
INFORMATION 2009/11/05:20:08:19 CSG1301 CtxSTA.dll loaded.
I would have expected to see far more than this. So am I heading down the right path to get the information I need regarding user activity (who did what with which application at what time)? If so, any suggestions as to why the log remains empty?
