Remote Printing issues

Hello,

I am trying to find a list of known printers to work via Terminal Server 2003.

We are trying to setup our laptop users with desktop printers that can receive remote printjobs from the terminal server. They work from home and have been asking for this for a while.

The issue I ran into, is, we purchased an HP P1505 Laser printer. I set the printer drivers up on the terminal server, and when the user establishes the remote connection, the printer shows up in their session, and they can even "sometimes" print a test page to the printer. However, if they try to print anything else, the print job appears to leave the print queue on the terminal server, and shows up in the print queue locally, but nothing more happens.

I've also read that you should NEVER install 3rd party drivers onto the terminal server, so, I used the 6L drivers and the Termial Server printer driver redirection wizard to properly associate the 6L with the HP P1505. When the user still connects, same issue arrises.

Any sugguestions on a printer that is known to work fairly easy, or is there a different way to configure the remote printing?
