Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Problem with VNC Server

I'm just starting to experiment with VNC.  I installed UltraVNC viewer on my laptop and UltraVNC server on a workstation in my home network.  The tool worked great.  

Then, I dropped a copy of UltraVNC on a workstation at a client's office.  When I attempt to connect to the client workstation, I sometimes see a black screen and I sometimes see the workstation desktop, but I have no control over the machine.  (In other words, I can move the pointer around the screen, but I can't do anything with the keyboard or a mouse-click.)Start Free Trial
