TightVNC - Windows Login Input Fields Become Disabled

Zones: VNC Remote Access Software, Miscellaneous Networking, Windows XP Operating System

I have TightVNC running as a service on my machine. When I access it remotely, sometimes the Windows login username and password fields become disabled. I can see them, but can't enter them for input. I have to reboot to get them working again. What could be causing this?
