With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Installing VNC server on linux

I'm trying to get VNC Server running on my machine (i'm new to installing programs on linux) and i was using the command
%sudo rpm -Uvh tightvnc-server-1.3.9-2.rh9.rf.i386.rpm

and got the output:

How do i uninstall this other vnc? I don't think it is properly installed as i don't see the file
/etc/init.d/vncserver as giving the documentation
