The Solution Rating System

  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. VPN Question, Linksys BEFVP41 - Firewall - NT4

Hi,
I have a question here. I plan to setup and secure network. the following is my design.
DSL Modem is connected to Linksys BEFVP41. Windows 2000 Pro with Firewall software installed(Firewall Server) will be connected to BEFVP41. Windows NT is behind Firewall server which connected via switch.

DSL Modem
      |
Linksys BEFVP41 (192.168.1.1)
      |
W2K Firewall Server (NIC1: 192.168.1.2) (NIC2:192.168.0.1)
      |
Win NT4 (192.168.0.2)

my question is, how do i allow Internet user to access into Win NT4 throught VPN connection?. Is the above network design is a good idea to secure my network?
