Quick VPN with Linksys RVS4000

I have set up a Linksys RVS4000 with a static IP.
When trying to connect to the router remotely with the QuickVPN client, I'm getting stuck at "Verifying Network".  

I'm trying this on two PC's.  One is XP Professional.  That one connects with no problem.
The second one is XP Media Center Edition.  That one hangs at Verifying Network.

Any suggestions?  Would the fact that I'm using XP Media Edition play a role?  If so, are there any known workarounds?

Any help/suggestions/guidance would be very much appreciated!  We're on a bit of a time crunch to get this done!
