solution for VPN when both ends have same IP range??

Is there a solution for connwection toa VPN when both ends have same IP range?
We have many sites with Symantec VPN's on some occasions users cannot connect up to the VPN because of having the same IP range as the network they are trying to connect up to. This usually happens when they are on to road at a hotel, etc. I have heard of two possible sollutions but not sure if/how to impliment They are:

1. Run a script to change the routing table

2. Setup a separate WINS server that replicates with Server 1 but has its address blocked by Server 1 so that no systems registered on this server go elsewhere.  Only have the standard VPN tunnels point to this server.  Everything else will still point to the normal USA servers.

Either of these ideas make sense?

Thanks,
Larry

You need to have different networks at each end. You cannot create a routing rule because it would conflict with the routes you already have.
