How do I setup a VPN router (Linksys WRV54G) and then RDC to connect to my home computer using DDNS?

What I am trying to accomplish is the ability to establish a VPN connection on a client machine that's part of another network, using my domain name> I want to  be prompted for a user name and password and upon authentication be allowed to access my home PC as if I were home and on that local network.I have already done 3 things:

I1) purchased a url for my DDNS and configured it on the everyDNS.net website
2) purchased a vpn router (Linksys WRV54G).
3) set up a service running eDNS as a DDNS client on my host machine.

I know nothing about how to securely configure my router to allow VPN tunneling and I'm unclear about about the similarities/differences in using RDP or Telnet to connect though a tunnel once it is established.Start Free Trial
