VPN stopped working after Windows Updates

Running Server 2003 with SBS, ISA server 2000 and Exchange Server

The Issue:
The VPN stopped working after windows updates, it was working perfectly fine before service pack 2 was installed among many other windows updates.

Symptoms:
The VPN clients are able to connect and get authenticated, however no network access is available what so ever and no internal addresses can be pinged.

The server has been rebooted several times during troubleshooting attempts, ISA server has been checked over back to front as has routing and remote access.
