We have a cisco pix 501 and use the client vpn feature, not site to site. I set up each laptop at the main office on the lan and put them onto the domain, then ship there pc to them. Each remote user has to logon to their PC as their domain user and then start the windows vpn client to connect to the pix which puts them onto the network as if they were in the office. We had a new person replace someone that left the company and I want to allow this new person to login as the domain user that I setup for them, but it is not cached on the PC. So they login to the PC as the old domain user, then connect to the vpn as the new user to get their outlook and access to the server shares. How can I add the new user to the cache of the local computer so that the new user can login as themselves? I have "domain users" set as a local admin, so the authority should be right, but it can't validate the new user because they have never logged on to the domain on that PC so the PC cannot validate their username on the domain because the domain is not accessible until they login and start the Windows VPN. Is there a way to send all users and passwords to the local PC cache so that any "domain user" can login to that PC? Or do I need them to ship the PC to me and put it locally on the network, login as the new user and then ship it back?
thanks,
Mike
