Visa VPN to PIX Not Working

I'm using Vista Home Basic to VPN into a PIX device using PPTP.  It works on XP Pro but I get a 828 reason code failure in the event log. It would seem to indicate that it is timing out although the setting is set to Never.  As stated, I can connect an XP Pro machine to the exact same cable connection and it works with seemingly the same settings.
