How to allow concurrent Cisco Client VPN connections

Asked by wigmeister in Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Cisco PIX Firewall, Network Operations

I am connecting from my company site to client company sites through the use of VPN.  One client uses Checkpoint VPN, two are using the standard Windows VPN, and two are using Cisco VPN.  I need to have all connections open and active at the same time.

All connections will open and remain open except for the Cisco VPN connections.  I can only have one Cisco connection at a time.  When I connect with one, it disconnects the other Cisco connection I have open.  Is this something I can control from my end?  Do I need to have the clients do something or their end?  I will admit my knowledge on this subject is quite limited.

I have each Cisco VPN connection set up with Group Authentication, with transport tunneling enabled and IPSec over UDP.   I cannot get connected using IPSec over TCP.  I am connecting to them from a Windows Server 2003 machine, using Cisco VPN Client 5.0.01.0600.  I do not know anything about the setup on the clients end (hardware or software).

Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.Start Free Trial
