Issues access intranet sites on VPN

I have many remote users who use Windows VPN just fine.  However, I have one user who is having constant issues resolving intranet sites.

Their machine is Windows XP Pro with SP 2 and all the updates installed.  Fresh install of windows, and verified no spyware or virii installed.

They can connect to the VPN without hassle, and I have them using the same settings as all other users.  What happens however is that they can't connect to internal websites.  for example i have abc.ourdomain.com as an internal site, all other VPN users can without issue, but this one can't.

They can connect to ourdomain.com on or off VPN.  Also if i do \\IP address of a share they can see it, but not by name.

I've done an ipconfig /all and their home network gives them a different IP than VPN (that is its 192.168.0.X from home and 10.0.0.X from the VPN)
The dns on /all shows its using the right server 10.0.0.252..

This occurs regardless where the user is, at home, a hotel, Starbucks, etc.

I've also tried reinstalling the OS and TCP/IP, other than that I am at a loss.

Thanks in advance.Start Free Trial
