I have a user at a remote site that has a router to router (sonicwall) vpn to there home office. If you start AOL, their adapter settings will not allow the user to access the corp vpn. Log off of AOL and they can continue to access the vpn and their company servers.
Before AOL start ipconfig looks like this
Windows IP Configuration
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 172.20.2.12
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 172.20.2.1
Ethernet adapter SonicWALL Virtual Adapter:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 223.1.1.128
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
Works great, but when AOL starts it adds it's own adapter, and blocks access over the vpn.
PPP adapter The Internet (1):
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 172.129.237.174
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 172.129.237.174
Is there any way to get around this?
