- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. My Cisco Anyconnect VPN client V 2.1.0148 can no longer connect to our VPN site. It authenticates, and checks for updates and then when it tries to connect, it gives the error message "The VPN Client driver has encountered an error." No indication of what kind of error. This is on a laptop running XP. I get the same symptoms from every WiFi portal I have tried. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the client with no luck. Is there a Windows driver that the VPN client uses that could be at fault? I think it is likely something in my laptop outside the VPN client that is the problem. It worked fine up until about a month ago. Our IT department is stumped.
