Asked by ibidata in Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Windows Server 2008, Networking Hardware Firewalls
We currently have a Cisco IPSEC VPN configured that authorizes users against active directory using Radius on Windows 2008. The computers connecting to the VPN are user's home computers so they are not on the domain.
Since I have Network Policy Server with Radius being used already how can I use Microsoft NAP on 2008 with our Cisco VPN to make sure users have the appropriate anti-virus, os updates and firewall installed and active? Currently we are not using Cisco NAC. Is NAC needed with NAP? If NAP is easy enough I may try to implement with the rest of our internal workstations.
