I've got a trojan or 2 that I cant seem to get rid of. AVG antispyware finds them fine, but not being an amazing program 'removes' them, whereupon they come back within a day or so. I'm guessing I have a downloader program somewhere thats bringing them back in.
I have a whole load of cookies in my internet temporary files that wont let me delete them, does this mean they are locked? How do I unlock them to delete them? I think the trojan/downloader might be 'hiding' here.
Programs I have used to clean the PC so far are:
AVG
AVG antispyware
AdAware SE Personal
SUPERantiSpyware
On top of those I run sygate firewall, how good is it?
Its a virus's I got through MSN, cleverly disguised as 'I haven't seen this photo of you before! ...............(link)'
The actual trojan names are;
trojan horse generic5.FER
trojan horse SHeur.ZQ
What antivirus would you reccomend scanning the PC with too?
