Having trouble using VMware in parallel with Virtual PC on Vista Ultimate

Currently using Microsoft Virtual PC and wanted to evaluate VMWare so I can set up a 64-bit virtual machine.    Every time I try to start a VMWare workstation and have the Virtual PC machines running, I either blue screen or lock up.

I figure it's hardware conflict somewhere but I can't find any information on this.  My host machine is running 64-bit Vista Ultimate.

Anyone ever tried this?

Yep that seems to pretty much sum it up.  I search all morning before giving up and posting here.

Can you give me your opinion on the blog?  I saw where someone asked if disabling virtualization support at the BIOS level would help.  I really didn't see a clear reply.  Before I shut everything down and try it, what's your take on it?

Virtual Pc Guy is a very knowledgeable person regarding virtual pcs (and who knows what else.)  I spent a morning browsing through a large number of his past writings a few days ago and was quite impressed.

lol.....I was asking your opinion on disabling virtualization in BIOS fixing the problem.

For what its worth:  I do agree about the person.  As soon as I pulled up the page, I remember being out there in the past.

I don't believe I have hardware virtualization as one of my BIOS options, and I have never used VMware, so I don't know the answer to that...
