VCB backup and the Proxy

Hello Experts,

    The question I have for other VMware ESX Admin who are using VMware Consolidated Backup is.

    Does the proxy require a server of it's own, or can the proxy run in the backup server without causing to much overhead? We hope to do full VMDK level backups once a week with incrementals during the week.

     Anyone else happen to be using Commvault Galaxy as their backup software?

     Looking back, would you change your current configuration if you had the chance?
