I am running VMware Fusion on my MacBook (OS X 10.5.2) with Windows XP Professional. I note there's a way to get the iSight camera working on the Windows virtual machine and have seen comments about downloading Bootcamp; partially downloading Bootcamp; having Bootcamp burn a Drivers CD; etc.
I'm sorry but I'm totally lost on this one. What's the easiest way to get the iSight camera working on the Windows virtual machine? If I do need to download Bootcamp, could someone tell me how to get it to burn a CD or replicate the Driver needed? I speak Windows moderately well but haven't used a Mac since OS 9.

from what I understand you have to boot from the bootcamp cd, and from bootcamp create a drivers cd, (you may have to install bootcamp and xp on your system first but this would involve repartitioning your drive - not recommended unless you are an expert) once you have the drivers cd then you can use vmware fusion to install the drivers.
so here is what you are going to do
1) boot up the vm
2) click the "virtual machine" tab on the top menu
3) click "USB"
4) connect all 3 devices (if it gives you a warning click OK)
5) insert the first installation disc (if you bought a mac w/ leopard), if not insert the leopard disc
6) open windows explorer
7) right-click on the dvd that says "WindowsSupport" or something of that matter
8) click "explore"
9) double click on the bootcamp folder
10) run "setup.exe"
all the drivers will install for all the apple devices that were not there before (isight,bluetooth, ir remote

You already have bootcamp as it comes as part of 10.5.2 and the drivers for the isight etc are on the 10.5 OS X DVD. Boot to windows, insert the 10.5 OS X DVD and there should be a setup.exe that will install everything for you or otherwise open the "Drivers" folder and go from there.
