VMWare GSX Server, VM's disks are growing rapidly

We have GSX server with a bunch of VMs running on it. Currently, for example, we have a computer, computerA. computerA was built was a 20GB HD with Windows XP on it. Its a remote desktop machine so its not really being used too much. Right now the drive is 43.2GB but when I look at the HD, the drive says it's only taking up about 9GB. Just curious if there was anything I could check on? The max HD space is at 120GB. I didn't setup the machine but this is how it was configured and we don't have space on the orginal C drive of the physical machine to now support that kind of expansion.
