Heartbeat cluster problem in website!

Asked by jaisonshereen in VMware, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat Application Server

I have one website (production) which is hosted in three linux servers. Named prod1,2,3 . All the prod 1,2 and 3 are working in cluster named heartbeat.

All the three prod 1,2,3 have a tomcat and Apache is up and running. And when i took individual urls of each production websites(1,2,3) is working fine.

But when i points ip of prod1 or prod2 to the cluster , website is not coming up. But when i point the cluster ip to prod3 website is working fine. Please tell what is the reason behind this?

It happened after the clone of prod1 to prod2 in vmware when my prod2 file system is corrupted.
