How to install USB/Serial device on virtual machine in ESX 3.0.2 host?
There is Windows 2003 server running on physical machine with USB and serial device connected. I plan to virtualize the physical machine into the ESX environment, but not sure if it is possible map the USB and serial device from ESX host to virtual machine.
Q#1. Does ESX 3.0.2 support USB and serial device? If yes, how to make them work in virtual machine?
Q#2. Is there any way to map USB or serial device from the ESX host to virtual machine inside it?
Q#3. Is USB /serial support on VMware ESX's roadmap?
