Asked by Xyptilon2 in VMware, Miscellaneous Networking
I have VMWare Workstation setup, out-of-the box. With a Debian VM. Network is configured as DHCP, using NAT mode.
From within the VM I can ping IP addresses and i can do DNS lookups. But i cannot retrieve data from the Internet.
On the host (my laptop), I have a wireless network card that connects to a router and a PPPOE connection that connects the modem to the ISP. How can I get Internet to work in the VM? There are no firewalls within the host or the guest.
