Never got asked. No problem to re-install it so I am just learning.
No one knows the default login/password? Their website/Google didnt help ><.

Default login for ESXi = ???
Just installed the latest Esxi (4 I believe). What is the default login and password?
I tried "root" with no password at the web interface. I then went back to the server and manually entered a password. Again at the web interface I tried root with the password I just gave it. Still didnt work.
I am using the beta version of Windows 7/ I.E. 8 on my desktop, if that matters.

When you setup your ESXi Server did it not ask you to enter a password? Since it is fresh install, maybe it would be better to reinstall ESXi and look out for the password option when it gets asked..
