I had put a boot delay of 2500 ms per a suggestion of an article I found while Googling this issue and just upped it to 5000. No dice.
Good call on another ISO! I've been trying to install either the beta or the RC of Windows 7 and both have failed. I just tried a Windows Server 2003 ISO and it worked.
I suspect that this may actually have to do with what Guest Operating System the VM is configured to recognize. I chose 'other' this time around, but had tried a couple of different Windows ones. I realize that this is not relevant to the question as asked, but do you know what could possibly be the right setting for Windows 7? I just tried selecting Windows Vista, but it did not work.

Edit the settings in the vm.. Add some time to the boot delay.. say 50 mili secconds.. It could be that the vm is booting up before the connection to the iso can initialize.. This may be a dumb question, but are you sure the ISO is a good one?
