Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Backup VMWare platform

Hi all,

I have built a virtualised infrastructure comprising ESXi v4 with 5 virtual machines.

What is the best way to keep a backup for disaster recovery purposes?  Only one of the VMs contains a database that essentially stores all of the live system state detail, but there would also be some user data stored one two of the others.

We will keep database backups at several times each day, but if there is a way to bulk copy the entire VM data to a backup location?

Any suggestions are very welcome.
