These 2003 servers you are talking about are virtual machines?
Have you installed VMWare tools inside these machines?
You do not need to install the drivers for the network card into these OSs as it will use a virtual driver. Also, If it is 2008 you are having trouble with, for the driver then that's something you will need to speak to the manufacturer of the motherboard. Do ASUS do server motherboards now?
