Convert XenServer xva to VMware Server.

Hey Experts!
I have several *.xva exports from a server.  The XenServer no longer exists, we need to import these VMs into  a  VMware EXSi server.  I did not see a way to directly import them into vmware but i did find the XenConvert utility.  I have tried  converting them to OVF files which i believe vmware can import but i continue to get errors trying to convert.  I have 6 machines and get errors on them all.

First error i get is
"Failed to read 1048576 bytes from offset 15383658496 in XVA." the location it stops reading changes every time i run it.

Second error i sometimes get is.
OVF.TransformXvaOvf_VDI completed b012c2cd-6230-4767-aeb6-b5a659186cb7
Failed to create OVF Package.
Could not find InstanceID: Xen:b012c2cd-6230-4767-aeb6-b5a659186cb7/1a66ae04-3e3b-62ac-d47b-af8b337f835c

Does anyone have a better way of loading the xva files into a VMware server or workstation aside from setting up a XenServer again...

Have you tried converting them from vCenter Converter Standalone? That tools should be able to convert them directly from xva to vmdk.
https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/?p=converter&rct=j&sa=X&ei=jewlTPuZN8PbnAeZ0_S8Bg&ved=0CBkQqwMoADAA&q=vcenter%20converter&usg=AFQjCNGDy6vpp82G1EWdbQYgwkkEizJHPQ

IF that doesn't work, you can power on the VMs (if you can), then use an imaging tool (Acronis True Image...use the trial) and convert them to an image file, then use the Converter to convert them to VMware.
