Use DNS-320 NAS as a new Storage at vcenter 4.1

do you have a VMKernel Portgroup for NFS?

can you use ping and vmkping to ping the NAS?

check the log for more details?

Yes i have already set up a VMkernel Port.

Yes i have already test ping and vmkping trhough ssh connection from my host to NAS device and i get replies.

I have already take a look of the log file and you can also find a part of it attached.

We have finally resolved that issue!

We have had two problems with our configuration.

1.The real path from our host to the nfs shared folder.
If you enter the path to be /Volume_1/foldername it wouldn`t work. You have to set the real path to be something like /mnt/HD/HD_a2/foldername. You can find your real nfs name path by clicking on nfs icon after creating the sharefolder.

2.Host of sharedfolder
During creating an nfs sharedfolder you have to select your host. As host must be set the IP of your ESXi.

*Also you have to enable Root Squash and Write for your NFS shared folder.
