VMware standalone converter, hyper-v, errors
I'm using the stand alone converter from VMware to converts some VMs on a hyper-v server.
on the hyper-v server all VMs are healthy and running fine. So, I powered them off for the conversion.
So far, I have successfully converted two, but the third is erroring out at 1%. The error is that "the operation experienced a network error" although network connectivity is good. As I said, I can convert the other VMs on the host, it's just this one giving me grief. So, logged into the hyper-v server, started the VM to make sure it's solid, and it is.
Still, back over in the stand alone converter, I error out at 1%.
Ideas?
Thanks
Cliff

If I understand you correctly, you are saying fire up the VM on Hyper-V, install the converter and push it over to the new ESXi host?
Good to see you answering Hanccoka…I haven't seen you in a while.
