No sas ciov driver on IBM Blade server HS23 installed with ESXi 5.0 U3

Recently I install 2 IBM blade server HS23 to bladecenter S. I used the IBM custom ESXi 5.0 U3 iso to install the OS.

After the installation I found that I only have 1 storage adapter. I thought the customized iso supposed to include the drivers.

In IBM support site I don't find any driver for vmware on this sas ciov card.  Any way to find and install the driver?

It depends in the hardware, and storage controllers have been certified for use with ESXi.

So are you servers in the HCL for ESXi 5.0 U3, and this storage controller?

what is the storage controller?

The server supports installation of ESXi5.0 U3. It a sas connectivity card (ciov) with part number 43W4068

Visit IBM fix central and upgrade firmware to minimum supported levels:

HS23 with E5-2600 v2
TKE136T UEFI MODE
HS23 E5-2600
TKE136T UEFI MODE
TKE112O
and is the sas connectivity card (ciov) supported on the HCL ?
You need IBM image or
if you install on USB/SD card -
mpt2sas v13 for ESXi 5.0 (downloadable from vmware)

I'm using IBM's customized ESXi 5.0 U3 iso to install the Operating System.
And do you have sufficient UEFI code level? I am not a dentist to pull information piece by piecee from you,
Did you use latest image ESXi-5.0.3-1311175-IBM-20131205.iso or some other unspported relic?

I'd say you need to open support case with IBM, as the controller is currently marketed.

The driver works fine. I map and present the DSM Lun to the blade servers. New storage able to add to the esxi host.

It seems my disc media is the cause of this. Maybe I use the media too many times.

I tried another host install through remote in AMM using ISO and it was working fine.
Maybe IBM prefers you install on their 50$ USB drive and then fix up drivers...
