VMware 5.5 - How to rename virtual disks .vmdk
Hi,
I've been upgrading VM servers from 2003 to 2012 R2. After the new server is built, I want to use the same host name as the old server. After I have the new machine changed to the old host name, how do I change the name of the .vmdk file. I want the new disk name to be the same as the host name. Right now the disk is still the name of the new VM host name I created. Ex. Host Name: server1, Disk name: server2.vmdk . Thanks in advance.
