When I run VPC 2007 SP1 on Windows Seven RC, it shows a "This program is blocked due to compatibility issues" message with "Check for solutions online" and "Cancel" button. If I click the first one, it search online and after a few seconds displays "No solutions found for Virtual PC 2007 SP1." Don't see any way to bypass compatibility error...

They are trying to do away with the ability to use a compressed VHD file for Virtual PC and Virtual Server. There is a beta of Virtual PC 2009 in Technet and is supposed to be available soon.
As for Virtual PC working on Windows 7, I have it working on my computer without doing any modifications or customization. I did a standard install and it works. Slowly, but it works.
