Add a registry entry to a package using the .osd

I am trying to add a registry line to a .osd file that will create a HKCU. It fails as soon as I add the reg key. Here is what I am adding

<REGISTRY>
<REGKEY HIVE="HKCU" KEY="Software\Spear Leeds & Kellogg\RediStart\Settings">
                              <REGVALUE REGTYPE="REG_SZ" NAME="Redi Log Path Override">%TEMP%\RediPlus\Logs</REGVALUE>
                        </REGKEY>
                  </REGISTRY>

Do yo notice anything wrong with this entry? I am putting it between  
<VIRTUALENV TERMINATECHILDREN="FALSE">
and
<ENVLIST\>
