Seems you are running out of resources. While you are creating VM from "fail over clustur"

check the star rating and use the maximum star host.

When i'm saying resources it means it can be RAM/CPU/Disk

you can calculate the RAM assigned to the all VMs and total into the host.
CPU must not be more than the 1:2 ratio means if you have 4 core CPU you may use upto 8  cores but left atleast 2 core for host.
Disk : check all disk created in size and total size, if you are using dynamic disk then also make sure some free space is into the datastore..
Hi,
whats the RAM and Procs you are assigning to this VM?
is there any limitations set by provider on max RAM, Procs? i feel that due to these limitations you are not able to create VM.

thanks guys.

Attached is the config and each host has 5 gb  free ram. The csv volume also has 300GB free.

I have also attached the capcity for this cloud.

not sure whats going on.

Is there any way you can check how much resources you have used up till now.
How many VMs has been created till now and how many are powered On.?

If the amount of resource free "is Less than" the amount you are configuring on the new VM, then the error you are getting is obvious.
Either you need to reduce the resources assigned to running VMs or PowerOff some of the VMs (which are not necessary)

Sorry for the spam, not sure whats going on with that.
As per the cloud capacity you don't have CPU and RAM its saying 0 check your capacity snapshot below :

You have to check if this is not getting refreshed. Until it show the correct figure you will not be able to create VM same error will be reflected again and again.

is this a cloud setting or a hyper v host setting?

Yes but my question rather is vmm not picking up what my hyper v hosts are offering ie ...ram cpu or is the cloud settings not seeing these resources.

Where do i dig around to find out whats happening.

Thanks so far mate.
It seems it is cloud settings from where you got this captured ? cloud settings correct ?
its the cloud settings not seeing these resources. do one thing run the BPA on the server,
BPA=Best practice analyzer

ok is that easy?
yes it is.
Run the validation once also see below screenshot for validation option:

Also if that does not help do take reboot of all host once one by one.

Bingo. I think there is an issue with the cluster.

its saying no disks where found but this is running on a smb share with csv. so im not to sure which way to turn. Both servers see it as a file server resources and is pointing to the sofs share with 299gb free.

Ive rebooted to no avail. strange one.
Can you contact your vendor at this point... he will help you to get this issue fixed as he know well about the setup..

If you feel any problem then let us know the setup as well i'll help you.

One step further Pradeep. dissolved the cluster and now the capacity is as it should be. Im going to recreate it and see how i go.

I have recreated the cluster but still the same thing, anyone know whats happening here?
The error says it, you need a witness cluster! which means a dedicated volume for the witness cluster because Witness needs to be an odd number ... please read below I think your answer is on the first link
