I need help setting up users for FTP sites.
I have a Win2K Advanced Server setup with multiple websites. We have unique IPs assigned to each FTP site. To give access to the FTP site we go to Computer Management > Local Users and Groups and add a new user. That user becomes a member of the Users group. We then go into the Security Accounts tab of the FTP site, uncheck "Allow Anonymous Connections" and add the newly created user account to the FTP Site Operators list. The problem with this setup is that any user can access any site as long as they have the correct IP address. For example User1 that was setup for site 123123.123.120 can access an FTP directory 123.123.123.121 that only has User2 and Administrator listed as Site Operators.
What are we doing wrong? What do we need to do to make sure that only the designated user has access to an FTP site.
