The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server

Asked by pcfreaker in Microsoft IIS Web Server, Windows 2003 Server

Tags: ,

A Member Windows Server 2003 holding an IIS role is getting this event log error while trying to browse any web site from its IIS 6.0, the web site browsed does not display even after typing the right credentials...

The exact error is as follows:
Source: Kerberos
Event ID: 4

The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server host/sapl256.domain.com.  The target name used was HTTP/sapl256.domain.com. This indicates that the password used to encrypt the kerberos service ticket is different than that on the target server. Commonly, this is due to identically named  machine accounts in the target realm (DOMAIN.COM), and the client realm.   Please contact your system administrator.

Any ideas on this issue, since none of the web sites on this IIS server can be browsed from the server neither remote...
