My Symantec Backup Exec keeps skipping files replicated using DFS

Asked by storyconstruction in Backup Exec, Windows 2003 Server

Tags: Symantec, Backup Exec, version 12

I have recently implemented DFS on the network at work to provide some failover resiliance for users on shared folders, however since implementing DFS my Backups keep skipping the files being replicated by DFS. I am at a loss as to why this is happening. I have tried changing the selection within Backup Exec from the primary DFS server to the secondary DFS server abd even stopping replication during the scheduled backup hours but nothing seems to work. The Backup job reports as completed succesfully but the folders being replicated by DFS are empty.

I am using Symantec Backup Exec 12
