no job in restore after backup

Tags: microsoft, backup exec, 10d
hi

im backing up with Symantec backup exec 10d, im backing 2 servers up, the servers are backing up to tape with no problems but on 1 of the servers isn't crating a restore anymore, the only thing that's changed is the works database has been moved over to this server, the sql the database it was using and the sql its using now have always backed ok, the sql server on my old server has now been decommissioned.

the only problem i have here is the restore on the 1 server not being created, if i search as media and select the last date of backup it shows me the backup for the other server it backed up but not my second 1, if i select a date before i moved the database it shows both servers.

could this be a service or option on this other server or something in the backup exec?

thanks in advance

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community
