Can you backup to tape with NTBackup?

ASKER

there is no more ntbackup at server 2008!!
and the new app "server backup" not supporting tape backup
First thing si have you done a Live Update and got BE to the latest build - there's a service pack out for it

Asuuming that you have and this is still occurring then I'd look at hardware next - could be miscommunication with the library

Do you have another SCSI card / cable / server that you could test the kit out on one by one to see if you can eliminate errors?

Hi YuvalGershy,

I have been trying to resolve a similar issue (Same error) on 2003 server with Backup Exec 12. Every day I get to try something new, but am running out of options.

Could you please elaborate on the Accepted answer.
Whcih piece of hardware was giving you problems, how did you find it and how did you fix it?

Thanks.
