Browse All TopicsSo I thought I have been backing up Exchange 2007 information store (mailboxes) but when I went to try to restore a mailbox I saw that exchange wasn't being backed up (e.g. there were no recent entries in the restore selection lists. So i ran the BE installation to see if i missed something. I got the warning that i need to install the "Exchange Management Tools" and "MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects."
I found and install the MAPI thing
When i searched for the Management tools the MS website told me that it was native to Exchange 2007 - 64-bit.

If Backup Exec is running on a different server then where Exxchange is running then you should just run the setup program of exchange 2007, depending on the os of the backup exec server; Is it x64 then just run the Exchange 2007 setup
