Question

BEDB SQL server is using non-standard port

I had to change the SQL port on the SQL Server (v2008) on which my BEDB resides (1433 changed to 1960).   Now BE (v12.5) cannot see the BEDB.  I don't seem to have any options in BEUtility to specify the port.

Try the registry.

Problem resolved.  I had to add an alias to SQL server for my BEDB database, which specified the new port.
