Tried power-cycling the drive..... that helped.... at least got rid of the '6' error and set it to a C. Was eventually able then to get the tape ejected through Symantec and run a cleaning cartridge. Thanks!

Browse All TopicsLTO4 tape on Quantum drive- wil not eject manually or through Backup Exec. Tape drive is showing '6' on it. Cannot complete cancelling the eject through Symantec-- possibly due to the error on the tape drive. Do not know what the code '6' means. Backup initially failed last night because the service quit.
