Public Folder Restore

Asked by tuye in Exchange Email Server, Backup Exec

We are on Exchange 2007.  5 contact lists in a public folder are empty, the data disappeared.  All mailboxes sharing the information have been checked for deleted items and recover deleted items.  We do have a backup of the public folder.  How can this be restored? Can the contacts be recovered?
