CommVault Bad Media - Media Label does not match
A tape that has been exported from my library has been assigned as bad media with the error "Media label does not match". No labels have been changed and no settings in the library have been changed. I've reset the library, the drive and have done a full scan, but it still says it's bad. The library itself (a DELL PV124T) can read the label fine and has no issue with it. It is only affecting the one tape.
Nothing useful on the website or when googled - anyone come across this before?

The Media Label it is referring to is the On Media Label - not to be confused with the physical label on the outside of the media.
I don't think there is really anything you can do to recover the contents, however you should be able to delete the tape within Commvault, do a rescan, and then the tape should be able to be reused.
