Can I make a copy of the Rosetta Stone Language CD, or can I copy the contents of the CD-ROM to my computer's hard drive?
Installing Language Levels for Rosetta Stone Version 3 saves the language data directly onto your computer's hard drive. To find out if Version 3 is available for the language you are learning, please visit our website or call us at: 888.232.9245

Although you are allowed to backup your CD's, you aren't allowed to overcome copy protection schemes to make such a backup. Your software apparently uses such a scheme so you can't make a working backup.
